The Royal Rangers at Outpost 448 is the premier Father/Son Small Group at Lakeshore Church and is the most sought-after mentoring ministry for next-generation men!

 

The mission of Royal Rangers is to provide churches with a platform to evangelize boys for Christ, equip them to become the next generation of Christlike men, and empower them for service as lifelong servant leaders.

General Information

  1. UNIFORMBeginning Fall of 2023, uniforms will be the preferred wear for attendance.

    1. Why uniforms?

      1. Provide boys a way to display their achievements ( a personal scoreboard)

      2. Create a sense of identity and belonging for boys

      3. Instill a sense of responsibility and self-discipline

      4. Establish a degree of social equality within the outpost

  2. Advancements

    1. The Gold Medal of Achievement (GMA) is earned by getting 2 of the following:

      1. Gold Eagle (Highest achievement in Discovery Rangers)

      2. Gold Medal (Highest achievement in Adventure Rangers)

      3. E3 (Highest achievement in Expedition Rangers)

    2. Additional accolades can also be provided by earning the Ranger Kids Gold Trail.

  3. Achievements

    2. Other Age Groups:

      1. Bible merits are usually earned by going to a series of more traditional Sunday school lessons but at the outpost level.  These can be done by parents, so if one is missed, just ask your commander.

      2. Leadership merits are more like spiritual team-building merits and must be done usually over a weekend, likely on a Saturday.

      3. Practical merits:

        1. Blue Merits (usually associated with Discovery Rangers).

        2. Green Merits (usually associated with Adventure Rangers).

        3. Silver Merits (usually associated with Expedition Rangers).
